A young man named Siam (21) was killed in a cocktail explosion from the flyover in front of the National Church Parishad Bangladesh Bhaban of Hatirjheel Police Station in the Moghbazar intersection area of the capital. He is an employee of a car decoration shop.
The cocktail was thrown from the Moghbazar flyover at around 7:10 pm on Wednesday (December 24, 2025). Ramna Division Deputy Police Commissioner Md. Masud Alam confirmed the matter.
He said that someone or something threw a powerful cocktail down from the flyover. It is believed that the cocktail fell directly on the person’s head. He died on the spot.
