A strong earthquake struck various parts of the country including the capital Dhaka on Friday (November 21, 2025) morning.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the earthquake occurred at 10:38:26 am. Its magnitude was 5.7 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 14 kilometers west and southwest of Narsingdi district town, at 23.89 north latitude and 90.57 east longitude and at a depth of 10 kilometers from the surface.
