A leader of the Swechchhasebak Dal was shot dead by miscreants in Tejturi Bazar area of Tejgaon police station in Dhaka. His name is Azizur Rahman Mosabbir.
The shooting incident took place at 8:40 pm on Wednesday (January 7). He was the former general secretary of the Dhaka Metropolitan North branch of the Swechchhasebak Dal.
Police say that unidentified gunmen shot two people behind Bashundhara Market. They were rescued and taken first to BRB Hospital and later to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The doctor on duty there declared Mosabbir dead.
