A condolence meeting, Quran recitation and prayer mahfil were held in Fulgazi Upazila of Feni to pray for the forgiveness of the departed soul of former three-time Prime Minister, BNP Chairperson and leader of uncompromising democracy, Late Begum Khaleda Zia.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate for Feni-3 constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, ‘Dhaner Sheesh’ and former FBCCI President Mr. Abdul Awal Mintu was present as the chief guest at the event.
BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member and veteran politician Professor Joynal Abedin VP spoke as the special guest.
The program was presided over by Mr. Munshi Rafiqul Alam Majnu, the BNP-nominated ‘Dhaner Sheesh’ candidate for Feni-01 constituency and the convener of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP.
After the condolence meeting, special prayers and prayers were held for the forgiveness of the late leader’s soul. A large number of religious devotees, including leaders and activists of different levels of BNP and its affiliates, were present at the program.
