Revolutionary Workers Party’s nominated MP candidate for the upcoming 11th National Parliament election in Rangamati-299 constituency, supported by the Democratic Platform, Biplobi Women Leader Jui Chakma, General Secretary of the Central Organization of the Biplobi Workers Party and Rangamati District Committee, held an exchange of views with local journalists.
The exchange of views was held at the temporary office of the Biplobi Workers Party in the Rangamati General Hospital area on Saturday (October 18) at 11 am.
At this time, Biplobi Workers Party MP candidate Jui Chakma, General Secretary of the Central Organization of the Biplobi Workers Party and Rangamati District Committee, said, “I do politics for the hardworking people and expressed my interest in working as a servant of the people.” He pledged to manage the Rangamati Hill District with great harmony and equality with all the stakeholders of the hills in Bangladesh.
He said that in the upcoming 11th National Parliament elections, the interim government will have to conduct the elections with utmost professionalism and impartiality. Otherwise, the credibility of the elections may be questioned. And if the elections are healthy and acceptable, the Revolutionary Workers Party will be elected with a huge majority of votes.
Jui Chakma said that if elected, he will solve the problems of the hill areas, eliminate unemployment, dredge Kaptai Lake and keep it pollution-free, meet the electricity needs of the people of the hill areas, and build a tourism-friendly city.
Present at the exchange of views meeting were Revolutionary Workers Party President Nirmal Barua Milon, Vice President Shyamal Chowdhury, Upazila President Amar Chakma, Youth Solidarity Member Secretary Simon Islam, and Rangamati District Committee General Secretary of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Barua Organization Apu Barua, among others.
