A Chhatra Dal-backed panel has announced a boycott of the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JACSU) and Hall Parliament elections, alleging irregularities.
General Secretary (GS) candidate Tanjila Hossain Baishakhi made this announcement at a press conference held at the guest room of Maulana Bhashani Hall around 3:30 pm on Thursday (September 11, 2025). Vice President (VP) candidate Md. Sheikh Sadi Hasan and other candidates of the panel were also present at the time.
Baishakhi complained that they were not allowed to enter Tajuddin Hall. There was no photo in the voter list. A mob was created in Hall No. 21. There was also an attack on an independent candidate in Jahanara Imam Hall.
