On Friday (November 21, 2025) morning, he paid tribute by laying a wreath at the Shikha Anirban of Dhaka Cantonment.
After laying the wreath, Professor Yunus stood in silence for a while to pay deep respect to the memory of the brave martyrs of the armed forces who made the supreme sacrifice during the great liberation war in 1971.
