The European Film Festival 2025 was successfully held in Dhaka, spanning four days and centered around the theme “In Transition.”
During the festival, audiences enjoyed a captivating selection of films, engaging masterclasses, and an exciting short film competition, showcasing the challenges and successes of political and social change.
Thanks to the support of European Union member states and the collaboration of Dhaka University Film Society, BRAC University Film Club, Alliance Française de Dhaka, Goethe Institut, British Council, and International Academy of Film and Media, the festival became a vibrant celebration of European cinema.
