US Ambassador to Dhaka Brent Christensen paid a courtesy call on Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain. This was the first formal meeting of the US Ambassador with the Foreign Affairs Advisor after assuming office in Dhaka.
The meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (February 8, 2026) at noon. After the meeting, Ambassador Brent Christensen said that he had a wonderful meeting with Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain. He said that there were fruitful discussions on various important issues of Bangladesh-US bilateral relations.
