The closing and award distribution ceremony of the Inter-Services Hockey Competition-2025, held under the overall management of the Bangladesh Air Force, was held on Wednesday (24 December 2025) at the hockey field of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam AK Khandaker in Dhaka.
Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force teams participated in this five-day competition from 20 December to 24 December 2025. In the final game, Bangladesh Air Force hockey team defeated Bangladesh Navy hockey team by 4-3 goals and won the title of champion. Bangladesh Navy hockey team was the runner-up.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Maintenance) Air Vice Marshal Md. Tariqul Islam, BSP, BUP, ndc, psc, attended the final game as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winning and runner-up teams. PO (Music) Ashraful of the Bangladesh Navy Hockey Team was selected as the best player for his impeccable performance in the competition.
Senior officers of the Army, Navy and Air Force, along with members of various ranks, were present at the event. Earlier, on 20 December 2025, Chief Consultant General (CCG) Major General Mohammad Saiful Bhuiyan, ndc, psc inaugurated the competition.
