The Iranian delegation has arrived in the Pakistani capital Islamabad to discuss a ceasefire. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has described the talks as a decisive moment in finding a solution to the war. BBC News.
The US delegation is being led by US Vice President JD Vance. He has also left for Islamabad.
On the other hand, Iran has sent its Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Islamabad for the talks. The Iranian negotiating team, led by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, arrived in the Pakistani capital.
After arriving at the Noor Khan Air Base, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Asim Munir welcomed the Iranian delegation.
