Ishraq Hossain, a prominent political figure of Dhaka Metropolitan South, exchanged greetings and visited various public puja mandap of Sutrapur and Gandaria police stations in the capital on the occasion of Sharadi Durga Puja.

On Tuesday (30 September 2025) evening, he visited several puja mandap in Sutrapur and Gandaria areas and exchanged greetings with the followers of traditional religion present.

He is the chairman of the Kalighat Shiva Temple, Abirbhava Sarvajaniya Puja Committee, Malakatola Puja Committee, Sammilani Puja Committee, Ekta Sangha Puja Committee, Navdiganta Puja Committee, Sutrapur Gautam Mandir Puja Committee, Arya Sangha Puja Committee, Sri Sri Madanmohan Dev Vigraha Temple, Hemendra Naveen Sangha Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Jiu Thakur Temple, Shiva Mandir Puja Committee, Ghokul Chandra Roy Puja Committee, Northbrook Hall Road Sarvajanin Puja Committee, Sabuj Swapan Sangha Puja Committee, Narasimha Mandir Puja Committee, Mahamaya Puja Committee, Ekrampur Puja Committee, Kulutola Durga Temple, Banianagar Dampara Sarvajanin Puja Committee, Rishikesh Das Road Puja Committee, Sri Sri Kali and Radhakrishna Temple, Dayamoyi Maa Mahakashi Puja Sangha, Madan Gopal Jiu Vigraha Temple and Sri Sri Sita Nath Jiu Vigraha Temple.

Later, he visited the Vardhanpara Temple of Gendaria Police Station, Sri Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu Jiu Vigraha Temple, Pratidhvani Sangha Durga Temple, Vivekananda Seva Sangha, Sri Sri Lakshminarayan Seva Sangha, Sri Sri Yamuna Mai Ashraya and Temple, Jelepara Temple, Sri Sri National Shiva Temple, Rishipara Temple and Sweeper Colony Temple.
During this time, he spoke politely with the worshippers and wished the citizens of traditional religion for a peaceful celebration of Durga Tsav.
