Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JACSU) Vice President (VP) Abdur Rashid Jitu, along with elected leaders from various levels of the union, have officially joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its student wing Chhatra Dal.
They joined the BNP by presenting flowers to the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at a ceremony organized at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Friday (February 6, 2026).
Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir were present at the event.
