This Saturday (December 20, 2025) morning, the respected Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman returned to Dhaka after cutting short his London visit and went directly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to see the body of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, which was kept in the cold storage of the National Heart Institute. At that time, the Ameer-e-Jamaat was accompanied by the organization’s Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, Central Executive Council Member Md. Mubarak Hossain and Dhaka-17 Jamaat-e-Islami nominated MP candidate Dr. SM Khaliduzzaman and other leaders.
The Ameer-e-Jamaat spoke to the two elder brothers of Shaheed Osman Hadi and consoled them. Later, the Ameer-e-Jamaat along with everyone prayed to Allah Almighty for the forgiveness of the soul of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi and for the acceptance of his martyrdom.
It is to be noted that the Ameer-e-Jamaat along with top leaders will participate in the Namaz-e-Janaza of Shaheed Osman Hadi at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building at 2 pm today, Insha Allah.
