A woman named Malaila Afroz (48) and her daughter Nafisa Binte Aziz (15) were hacked to death in a house on Shahjahan Road under Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital. Their housekeeper is absconding, so it is believed that the housekeeper killed them and fled.
It is learned that the deceased Nafisa was a ninth-grade student of Mohammadpur Preparatory School.
On Monday (December 8), Assistant Police Commissioner of Mohammadpur Zone of Tejgaon Division Md. Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter.
He said, the bodies of a mother and daughter with their throats slit were recovered on Shahjahan Road in Mohammadpur. The housekeeper of the house is suspected in this incident. Her name and identity could not be confirmed. We are working.
