Newly appointed US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen met with Bangladeshi importers of US products in a meeting. During the meeting, he highlighted the superior quality, reliability and long-term viability of American products and discussed existing trade and transportation challenges in expanding bilateral trade.
During the visit, Ambassador Christensen visited BSRM Steel and Pahartali Textile Mills, industrial enterprises in Bangladesh that have long used US products. During the visit, he witnessed firsthand the effectiveness of American technology and materials used in industrial production.
