Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief over the death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He also recalled Khaleda Zia’s lifelong sacrifice for the people of Bangladesh and her contribution to the prosperity and development of the country.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed his condolences in a tweet on social media X on Tuesday (December 30).
Shahbaz Sharif said that Khaleda Zia was a devoted friend of Pakistan and the government and people of Pakistan stand by the people of Bangladesh in this hour of grief.
He also said that we are with Khaleda Zia’s family, friends and the people of Bangladesh in this difficult time. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala grant peace to her soul. Amen.
