Deputy Speaker of the National Parliament of Bangladesh Barrister Kaiser Kamal, MP said that the Parliament Library can play an important role in providing objective bulletins and information.
On Monday (March 16, 2026), Deputy Speaker Barrister Kaiser Kamal, MP visited the National Parliament Library. During this time, he discussed the effectiveness of the Parliament Library in preserving daily news clippings, various domestic and foreign newspapers, journals, parliamentary debates and British parliamentary debates ‘Hansart’.
He emphasized the need to coordinate various departments and branches, including Public Works, to accelerate the activities of the Parliament Library. He gave necessary instructions for the continuous preservation of government gazettes and DLR. At this time, detailed discussions were held with the participation of members of parliament on ensuring the full and effective use of the library.
It is to be noted that the Deputy Speaker presided over the Library Committee as per the parliamentary procedure rules.
Senior officials of the National Parliament Secretariat were present at the event.
