Eid-ul-Fitr is the most important religious festival of Muslims. After a month-long fast, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr comes to us with the good news of immense happiness and joy. On the day of Eid, the rich and the poor all join in one row and share the joy of Eid.

Peace, harmony, equality and cordiality are the sacred The significance of Eid-ul-Fitr is immense. Through many sacrifices and self-sacrifices, a non-discriminatory, humane and democratic Bangladesh has been established. We are moving forward in the journey of building a just, prosperous and self-reliant Bangladesh. I hope that the teachings of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will add new enthusiasm and inspiration to everyone in this journey of building a new Bangladesh.

The unexpected impact of the global energy and economic crisis has had an adverse effect on Bangladesh. The government is handling the situation with utmost importance. At this time, I call on the wealthy and well-off classes of society to stand more firmly with the poor and backward people.
