The Interim Government has issued a statement strongly condemning the incident of the body of Nurul Haque Molla alias Nural Pagla being taken from the grave and set on fire in Goalanda, Rajbari.
The Press Wing of the Chief Advisor sent a statement of the Interim Government to the media on Friday (September 5) night condemning the incident.
The statement said that the Interim Government strongly condemns the desecration of the grave and burning of the body of Nurul Haque Molla, also known as Nural Pagla, in Goalanda. This inhuman and despicable act is a direct blow to our values, our laws and the fundamental foundations of a just and civilized society.
It said that such barbarity will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The Interim Government is committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting the sanctity of every human life, both during life and after death.
