In a video message at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus said, Bangladesh is going through an important time. Ahead of us is the National Parliament elections and the referendum on the implementation of the July National Charter.

They will go door-to-door to deliver information about elections and referendums, create awareness about voting rights, and spread the message of democracy.
The Chief Advisor said, “The right to vote is not at the mercy of anyone—it is our constitutional right. It is through the exercise of this right that we decide the direction of our future. Ensuring a free, fair, and participatory election is not just the responsibility of the government; it is the responsibility of every citizen of the state.”
He said, “This Super Caravan is not just a vehicle—it is a convoy carrying the joy of democracy. It will convey how important your vote is. It will remind us that participation, not inaction, strengthens democracy.”
Three said, “I especially request the youth, women voters and first-time voters—you come forward. Ask questions, know, understand and vote. Your decision will shape the Bangladesh of the future—the new Bangladesh.”
The chief advisor said, “We want an election where there will be no fear, no obstacles—there will only be free and fearless expression of the people. The government is determined to ensure that environment.”
He said, “You are the owner of the country. You will decide who will run this country for you for the next five years. Vote for the candidate of your choice. Vote for an honest and capable candidate. Vote thoughtfully.”
He said, “You will cast another vote in this election. You will vote on the July charter. This charter has been prepared after meeting with all political parties day after day for 9 long months. I firmly believe that if the people of the country like this charter, the country will run safely for many years to come. If you support this charter, then definitely vote yes in the referendum.”
“Let us all together make this democratic journey a success. Let us vote—for ourselves, for our country, for future generations, for a new world,” he said.
