BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has strongly condemned the violent incident that took place on Nurul Haque Nur, President of the People’s Rights Council.
At the time, he wished Nur a speedy recovery and called on the government to conduct a legal investigation into the incident. He made these remarks in a post on his verified Facebook page on Friday (August 29, 2025).
