Thakurgaon District Jamaat Ameer Belal Uddin Pradhan was arrested in a drama and was purposefully arrested, the party’s Assistant Secretary General and Head of Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, has claimed.
He made this claim at an emergency press conference at Jamaat-e-Islami’s office in Moghbazar in the capital on Wednesday (February 11).
Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair said, Thakurgaon District Jamaat Ameer Belal Uddin Pradhan was carrying money from business. But some members of the law enforcement agencies are deliberately staging a drama and doing all this. Details about the source of the money will be provided in due course, along with evidence.
