The law and order situation and overall security arrangements have been strengthened in the Gazipur Metropolitan area ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election. As part of this, GMP Police Commissioner Mr. Md. Israil Howlader visited various polling stations under the Sadar Police Station of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP).
During the inspection, he closely observed the security arrangements, overall preparation and activities of the police members in charge of the polling stations. He also instructed the concerned officers to maintain the highest professionalism, vigilance and impartiality in carrying out their duties during the election.
The Police Commissioner said that all-out security and surveillance activities will continue on behalf of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police so that voters can exercise their voting rights peacefully and without fear. He also mentioned that the law enforcement agencies are fully prepared to make the elections fair, free and acceptable.
