In view of the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election, candidates of Paddy Sheaf have taken to the field to directly communicate and exchange views with voters. As part of this, Zia Parishad Joint Secretary General Engineer Sharifuzzaman Khan Sharif exchanged views with teachers at Khanpur College in Monirampur on Sunday (November 9, 2025).
At the meeting, potential candidate of Jessore-5 Monirampur constituency Sharifuzzaman Khan told the teachers,
“The role of teachers in re-establishing democracy in the country and developing the education system is immense. If you vote for justice and democracy in the next election, then the country will return to the path of development and independent politics.”
The teachers present at the exchange of views expressed their views on various problems and prospects in the education sector. They expressed hope that the new government will increase the education budget and take effective steps for the welfare of teachers.
College Principal Asaduzzaman Khan Shahin, Assistant Professor Abul Bashar, Assistant Professor Md. Shahin, Assistant Professor Md. Wahidur Rahman Chanchal, Assistant Professor Md. Mohsin Ali, Assistant Professor Barun Kumar and various departmental teachers were present in the meeting. At the end, everyone called for peaceful, fair and participatory elections.
