On Friday, November 7, 2025, on the occasion of the historic Revolution and Solidarity Day, a colorful rally was held in Kaliakair Upazila under the leadership of Mr. Humayun Kabir Khan, Labor Affairs Co-Secretary and General Secretary of Gazipur-1 Central BNP, President of Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation.
Addressing the leaders and activists present at the rally, Humayun Kabir Khan said, “Martyred President Ziaur Rahman established a multi-party democracy on this day. If the Sepoy Revolution of that day had not taken place, perhaps no party named BNP would have existed in Bangladesh today. Therefore, it is very important to observe this day with due dignity.”
He further said, “To ensure the victory of our beloved leader Mr. Tarique Rahman, who will lead the party through the ‘Dhaner Shish’ symbol in the upcoming Gazipur-1 constituency election, every organ and leader of Kaliakoir must fulfill his responsibility in unity. The party will never hand over the sheaf of rice to those who have done personal politics against the interests of BNP.”
Humayun Kabir Khan requested the leaders and workers to start preparing for the upcoming election and continue distributing leaflets of Tarique Rahman’s 31-point program in every area of Kaliakoir. He said, “You should continue that work so that Tarique Rahman’s program and the greetings of the national leader Begum Khaleda Zia reach every person.”
