After offering the holy Eid-ul-Azha prayers, Social Welfare and Women and Child Affairs Minister Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain visited the Tejgaon Government Children’s Home (Girls) in the capital.
During this time, the minister inquired about the children. He checked their food and drink, medical care and overall condition as well as the cleanliness and quality of food.
The minister spent some time with the children and shared the joy of Eid. He also observed the activities, environment and cleanliness of the institutions and gave necessary directions to the concerned.
The minister said that the government as well as the people of the society have a responsibility to stand by the underprivileged children. Working together through government and private initiatives, it is possible to bring about major positive changes for the children.
