State Minister for Land and Hill Tracts Affairs Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin said that we must learn from the glory of sacrifice of sacrifice and rise above the animalistic nature of the mind and greed and lust to build a developed society. He called on everyone to forget their differences and unite for the overall development of the country.
The State Minister said these things while briefing journalists after offering the holy Eid-ul-Azha prayers at the Eidgah Maidan of the Chattogram Jamiatul Falah Jame Mosque on Thursday (May 28).
Calling for reflecting the lessons of sacrifice of the holy Eid-ul-Azha in individual and social life, the State Minister said, we should always keep the true glory of sacrifice in our hearts. We must work relentlessly for the welfare of our country and society by retaining this spirit of sacrifice.
At this time, the State Minister called on citizens from all walks of life to be aware from their respective positions and cooperate in the prompt removal of sacrificial waste to keep his beloved city of Chittagong clean and livable.
Earlier, the State Minister offered Eid prayers with the devotees and after the prayers, exchanged Eid greetings and good wishes with people from all walks of life.
