On September 3, 2025, at approximately 1 am, a patrol team of Purbachal Army Camp witnessed a horrific road accident while conducting regular patrol activities in the Purbachal 300 feet area. A speeding private car hit the back of a heavy truck parked on the right side lane of the Purbachal 300 feet road at a high speed. Fortunately, there was no loss of life as the car’s airbag was activated, but the three occupants of the car were seriously injured.
Immediately after the incident, the Bangladesh Army patrol team immediately started rescue operations. They quickly removed the injured from the scene, provided first aid and quickly sent them to the hospital. At the same time, they completed all related activities, including handing over the accident-affected vehicle to the appropriate authorities, with efficiency and utmost professionalism.
The Bangladesh Army will continue such humanitarian activities in the future with a commitment to maintaining law and order, protecting people’s lives and property, and standing by the public in any situation.
