An important meeting has been held under the Ministry of Industries to reopen closed factories, expand production activities and ensure effective management.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman presided over the meeting held at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday (June 4, 2026) morning.
The meeting discussed in detail the current status of various closed and loss-making industrial establishments under the Ministry of Industries, the possibility of reopening them, increasing production capacity and making the management structure more effective.
