US Ambassador to Dhaka Tracy Ann Jacobson Christensen congratulated the newly elected Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) and the new President Syed Mohammad Kamal.
In a statement on Sunday (June 14, 2026), Ambassador Christensen said that AmCham has been working as an important partner in strengthening US business interests and economic relations in Bangladesh.
He expressed hope that under the newly elected leadership, AmCham will play an effective role in further expanding economic cooperation between the United States and Bangladesh. At the same time, efforts to create a stable, transparent and accountable business environment for US companies in Bangladesh will also be accelerated.
