Nepal Embassy hosted a reception in the honour of the Bangladeshi journalists and media professionals on Sunday (14 June, 2026) evening in Dhaka. The Daily Dhaka Dialogue Editor Engr. Mohammad Shajibul-Al-Rajib participated as an invited guest in the program.
Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari praised the constructive role of media workers in strengthening the relations between the people of Bangladesh and Nepal. At the same time, he expressed gratitude to the Nepal Embassy in Bangladesh for the cooperation and support of journalists.
He said that both countries are committed to fulfilling the expectations of the people of the two countries and realizing their aspirations. Both sides are encouraged and optimistic as new areas of cooperation have opened up between Bangladesh and Nepal.
AKM Moinuddin, President of Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh, was also present at the program. In addition, senior journalists from various media outlets, diplomatic correspondents, and embassy officials participated in the event.
