British High Commissioner in Dhaka, Sarah Cook, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Humayun Kabir. The meeting was held at the Tejgaon office on Monday (15 June 2026).
During the meeting, both sides discussed the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the UK, trade and investment, development cooperation, education, climate change and various issues of mutual interest.
The Foreign Affairs Advisor, mentioning the long-standing friendly relations between Bangladesh and the UK, expressed hope to further strengthen these relations in the coming days. The British High Commissioner also reiterated the UK’s commitment to further expand the scope of cooperation between the two countries.
In the meeting held in a cordial atmosphere, both sides expressed their determination to continue close cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
