The election rally of BNP-nominated MP candidate Janneta Mayor Mojibur Rahman’s ‘Dhaner Sheesh’ symbol was held in Boali Union of Kaliakoir Upazila of Gazipur-1 constituency. Organized on Saturday (December 13, 2025), the rally turned into a virtual public rally with a large number of leaders and activists and the general public in attendance.
Speaking at the meeting, Mayor Mojibur Rahman said that this rally has been organized on the initiative of Boali Union BNP and its affiliated organizations on behalf of the BNP-nominated paddy sheesh candidate in the upcoming national elections in Gazipur-1 constituency. He greeted all those present, including the leaders from Boali Union.
He also said, “I never see anyone differently—I see everyone as human. This is our biggest identity. I do not harass anyone.” Referring to the long-standing political reality of Gazipur-1 constituency, he said that this constituency had been lagging behind for about 35 years. By the will of God and with the trust of the party leadership, he wants to ensure the victory of the paddy sheaf in this constituency of Kaliakoir Upazila, Kaliakoir Municipality, Konabari and Kashimpur—a total of about 755,000 voters.
Expressing gratitude to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman, he said that the party had handed over the paddy sheaf to him to deliver to the people. At the end of the meeting, the leaders and activists pledged to work unitedly for the party candidate in the election.
