However, despite losing the last match, the Mehedi Hasan Miraz-led Bangladesh team secured a 2-1 victory in the series. Earlier, the Tigers won the first ODI by 86 runs under rain rules and the second ODI by 5 wickets under rain rules, clinching the series with one match to spare.
