The biennial election of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) for the 2026-2028 term was held in a festive atmosphere on Tuesday (June 16). According to the results announced by the election board, Mohammad Hanif of Conscious-Reliance Forum was elected as the president.

Voters exercised their franchise with enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the election. Syed Shafat Uddin Ahmed was elected as the first vice-president of the new committee. Md. Moinul Islam was elected as vice-president-1 and Ziaur Rahman Zakir was elected as vice-president-2.

Zahir Helal was elected as director (finance), Md. Zahir Uddin, Firozul Islam as Director (International), Mizan Rahman as Director (Media and Publication), Abul Baset Babu as Director (Trade and Fair), Rabiul Islam Robi as Director (Legal Affairs), Abu Raihan Sumon as Director (Printing and Publication), Naimul Hasan as Director (Training and Research), Mominul Islam Asif as Director (Information Technology), Syed Md. Imtiaz as Director (Culture and Sports), ABM Zakaria Rajib as Director (Member and Human Welfare) and Shawkat Hossain as Director (Property and Assets) have been elected.
In addition, Mohammad Mohiuddin Selim, Tamim Ahmed and Nurul Anwar have been elected as Directors. Nasir Uddin has been elected as Director of the Associate Members Group.
The concerned expressed hope that under the leadership of this newly elected committee, TOAB will emerge as a more dynamic, modern and effective organization. At the same time, the new leadership will play an important role in developing the country’s tourism industry, strengthening Bangladesh’s position in the international tourism market, and addressing various challenges in the tourism sector.
