Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the four-day DC conference in the capital.
He inaugurated the conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital at 10:30 am on Sunday (May 3, 2026). Earlier, the Prime Minister reached the venue by walking from her office at the Bangladesh Secretariat at around 10:20 am.
Along the way, ordinary people stationed on both sides of the road welcomed the Prime Minister. She responded to their greetings by waving.
Advisor to the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Ismail Zabiullah, State Minister Md. Abdul Bari, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister ABM Abdus Sattar and Deputy Commissioners from across the country are participating in the conference. Top policymakers are presenting the government’s policies and management philosophy to the field administration in this conference.
It is worth noting that this is the first DC conference after the BNP-led government took office.
