Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended the plenary session of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting held in Dalian, China as an invited guest.
The plenary session titled “Innovating at Scale” began at 9 am local time on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) at the Dalian International Conference Center in Liaoning Province. The session was opened by the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the World Economic Forum.

The high-level plenary session was attended by Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Kazakh Prime Minister Olgas Bektenov, Mongolian Prime Minister Uchral Niam-Osser, Montenegrin Prime Minister Miloszko Spazic, and Guinean Prime Minister Amadou Ouuri Bah.
The session discussed various aspects of the global economy, technological innovation, sustainable development, and increasing cooperation in the changing international reality. The participating heads of state and government emphasized innovation-based growth, expanding investment, and strengthening international partnerships.
On the sidelines of the plenary session, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held courtesy calls and exchanged views with the heads of government of various countries. During the session, discussions were held on further strengthening bilateral relations, expanding trade and investment, and various issues of mutual interest.
