A delegation led by South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Kim Ji-jun paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, at the Army Headquarters on Thursday (25 June 2026).
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged greetings and discussed the existing friendly bilateral relations between Bangladesh and South Korea, strengthening defense cooperation, and various issues of mutual interest.
The meeting emphasized on further strengthening the existing cooperative relations between Bangladesh and South Korea. In addition, there was a positive exchange of views on expanding mutual cooperation in the defense sector and further deepening the relationship between the armed forces of the two countries in the future.
